Handmade thread bangles from India
Every Taasha bangle is wrapped by hand in our workshop, where a team of women artisans turns cotton thread into bright, lightweight sets. As seen on Shark Tank India, our bangles are made for real wear: office days, college, haldi and mehendi, navratri, Karva Chauth and weddings.
Choose ready-to-wear fixed sets, small mini sets for daily wear, or mix and match bangles to build your own stack. Want something specific? Made-to-order bangles are wrapped in your size and colour to match an outfit.
Thread bangles are a lighter alternative to lac bangles and won't crack like glass bangles, so they are easy to wear on long days and easy to gift. Pair them with matching fabric earrings and necklaces from the same collection.
Frequently asked questions
What are thread bangles made of?
Our bangles are made of cotton thread, wrapped by hand over an acrylic base, then finished with stones, mirrors, beads or ghungroo depending on the design.
How do I choose my bangle size?
Indian bangle sizes such as 2.4, 2.6 or 2.8 refer to the inner diameter in inches. If you already wear bangles, measure the inside of one you own and pick the same size.
Can I get a custom bangle set?
Yes. Use Customise Set to pick your own colours, or choose a Make to Order design and we will wrap it in your size.
Do you deliver outside India?
Yes. We deliver across India and ship internationally. Delivery options and charges for your address are shown at checkout.
Do you have 2.10 and 2.12 size bangles?
Yes. Larger sizes like 2.10 and 2.12 are hard to find in shops, so we make most of our designs in 2.10 and 2.12 as well as 2.2, 2.4, 2.6 and 2.8. Pick your size from the options on each product page.
